In-Person Lessons

Work with Mr. Wickham in PCC’s private Manhattan studio. Singing, piano demonstrations and phrase work take place in the same room, with a grand piano.

Studio Lessons

The student begins with a check-in, a musical question and a review of the practice. Guided exercises prepare the voice; the work then moves into phrases and the song itself.

Mr. Wickham can hear the unamplified voice and guide the physical coordination directly. Demonstrations at the piano support the exercises and shorter passages.

In-person lessons include Premium Training. The exact studio location is provided when your lesson is scheduled.

Repertoire Coaching

For a complete performance, the student sings with a karaoke or accompaniment track. Mr. Wickham listens and makes notes, then decides whether to try a change across the whole song or examine one phrase at a time.

The exercise and the phrase remain connected. A student may try a demonstrated sound, a visual image or a guided physical cue, then sing the passage again and carry that adjustment into the music.

More advanced students also sing and play patterns or melodies, or accompany themselves as part of the lesson.

Practice Assignments

Your assignments cover daily check-ins, longer practice and asynchronous work. Upcoming performances and career-coaching deliverables are reviewed when they are part of your training.

New repertoire comes with the original recording, an accompaniment track and isolated vocals. FULL membership adds feedback between appointments and access to PCC Salon.
