Sessions focus on lyrics, theory or composition. In lyric and composition sessions, we examine the writing and assignments developed during the previous week.
Exercises and review of the previous week’s output give the songwriter specific material to revise and develop.
In advanced sessions, the teacher guides the writer on their own computer while they build tracks, arrange and orchestrate the piece.
Playback allows a particular voice or sound to be examined in the arrangement. The piece’s output goal remains part of the session.
