Range and Pitch
The goals are a wider range of usable notes, more accurate pitch and greater vocal power.
The timeframes below describe training goals. They change with the student’s starting skill, commitment and progress.

The work includes smoother changes between vocal registers, so the sound does not break abruptly as the student moves through the range. Resonance—the way the throat and mouth shape and reinforce the sound—develops alongside vibrato, endurance, breath support and phrasing.
Long-term goals include singing across genres, extending the range, developing vocal effects and building professional-level endurance. The longer-term training windows are 3–5 years from a beginner starting point, or 2–3 years for more advanced students.
